The Lift Sopot aerial tramway is located in the resort town of Sopot at the foot of the Bulgarian mountains (Stara Planina) in the Plovdiv region of Bulgaria. "Lift Sopot" is the longest cable car in Bulgaria, its length is 3990 meters, it lifts tourists to the national park "Central Balkan".
The lower station is located at an altitude of 557 meters above sea level, near the monastery "Ascension" and the second station is located at an altitude of 1389 meters. The length of this section of the cable car is 2,630 m, the travel time is 22 minutes, the capacity is 300 people per hour and the number of seats is 101. Near the second station is the launching pad for paragliders. There is also the 3rd and 4th stations of the ropeway.
