Webcam Canggu. Sanggu Beach (Bali, Indonesia)
Canggu Beach is a long stretch of gray and black sand along the small village of the same name in southern Bali. Eight kilometers of volcanic sands are occupied by the beach areas of their own names, which flow into one another. Some have long been beloved by surfers, others are more suitable for casual swimming and seclusion.
The shoreline is bounded by the Indian Ocean, to whose waves young people from all over the world rush. The other side of the coast is decorated with beautiful unspoiled scenery and rice paddies. Canggu is a surfer's paradise, but also a great place for yogis and foodies. Outdoor enthusiasts, romantics, and freelancers of all stripes will find their perfect vacation and living arrangements here.
At Sanggu Beach, pristine nature wonderfully coexists with the gifts of civilization. The recently unassuming village is gradually transformed into the Balinese equivalent of Brooklyn.
The locals are diluted by the noble share of expats who maintain hotels, cafes, restaurants, entertainment, and cultural institutions.
According to CNN, Canggu is one of the top 100 beaches in the world, a great place to learn to surf, which is engaged most of the visitors. There are areas where many beginners safely practice their technique of controlling the board.
Swimming is not always possible, almost constantly there is a powerful wave. Out of season, when the rains run into the ocean debris from the rivers, near the shore gather unpleasant debris of wood and plastic. That's why it's not a good place for kids.
