Webcam Camerota. The coast and beaches

Marina di Camerota in Italy is a beautiful resort, 6 km below the medieval town of Camerota, by the turquoise-crystal waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The town is located on a promontory between two towers in the picturesque bay of Calanca, which has places for recreation with children, and for fans of windsurfing and diving.

The coastline impresses with the beauty of a pristine nature: white beaches awarded with the EU Blue Flag and charming bays, quaint sea cliffs, gorges and many caves, for which Marina di Camerota is famous. Many caves are of important archaeological interest. For example, in the grotto "dela Cala", located in an uninhabited corner, traces of the primitive man "Homo Camerotensis" several tens of thousands of years old have been found.

From the tourist port of Marina di Camerota it is possible to take a boat trip along the coast and to the sea grottoes, such as the "Lovers' Grotto" or the "Porto Infrecci" with the unusual color of the water due to the freshwater spring. And one of the resort's caves is home to the trendy nightclub Cyclops.

There are numerous bars and restaurants on the waterfront and in the Old Town offering traditional Italian dishes and freshly caught fish. If you want, you can go fishing yourself by renting a boat. It is also worth a walk through the streets of the medieval town and a bike ride along the mountain trails to the castle on the hill, which offers a stunning view of the sparkling sea and Marina di Camerota.
