The village of Xujiazhong belongs to Taipingxi City. It is a new immigrant village on the banks of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
Taipingxi is a town in Yilin District of Yichang Prefecture, Hubei Province of China. It is located on the left (north) bank of the Yangtze River, near the northern end of the Three Gorges Dam.
As an administrative unit, Taipingxi covers 152 square kilometers (mostly rural area) and has a population of 27,000.
