Prospect for the 60th Anniversary of the Formation of the USSR is the first street in the Solnechny residential district. It received its name in 1982 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the formation of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. (Officially the date of the formation of the USSR - December 30, 1922.)
According to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Krasnoyarsk City Council № 182, April 2, 1985 the street named after. On April 2, 1985 the street was renamed after 60 years of the USSR. On April 2, 1985 the street was renamed after the 60 years of the USSR Avenue.
On the 17th of August 2000 the Decision № 220-R of Krasnoyarsk city real-estate department "On city-wide naming list of streets and intracity facilities of Krasnoyarsk" was adopted. According to it the prospect is now called "60 years of USSR".
This is the central street of the district "Solnechny", which in two directions has access to Yeniseisky Trakt. From Slava Street to Petrushin Street, 60 Years of USSR Education Avenue has a wide separation strip in the form of lawn and green areas.
In the same area the housing stock is represented by 97-series panel nine-story buildings. Close to the end of the avenue is currently under intensive construction of residential buildings with a wide variety of layouts.
