Courchevel is a popular ski resort in the French Alps (Savoie department), located in the center of the Tarenteuse Valley. It is part of the combined ski area "Three Valleys" (Les Trois Vallées). The resort's four stations are located at altitudes of 1300, 1550, 1650 and 1750 meters above sea level. The ski season lasts from the end of November to the beginning of May.
