Krakow is a city in Poland, on the left bank of the Vistula River. The second most populous city in Poland after Warsaw, not much ahead of Lodz. The administrative center of Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
The city belongs to the historical and geographical region of Galicia and is historically one of its capitals (along with Lviv). Rich in historical monuments, the city center is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
