Aachen is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in a place where three countries meet: Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. To the south of the city, the Eiffel National Park begins.
Aachen is a city of students, the central part of the city consists almost half of the buildings of the Rhenish-Westphalian Technical University of Aachen (RWTH). The city is also home to the Aachen Higher Special Education Institution (FH-Aachen), Catholic gymnasiums, real schools, a school for advanced artisans, a monastery school, an institute for the deaf and dumb, and about 40 primary schools.
