Smijany village-the largest village in Slovakia, Kosice region, is adjacent to the town of Spisska Nova Ves. So large that it is completely incomprehensible why it is still a village, and still not a city. Moreover, this village is older than the adjacent town. The difference is that Spisska Nova Ves was a trading place on the river from the very beginning. And Smizhany, formed on the field, from the river a few kilometers away.
