Porto Pollo, located between Palau and Santa Teresa Gallura, is a small cove near the mouth of the Liscia river and Isola dei Gabbiani, whose coast is covered with white sand and framed by lush Mediterranean vegetation, connected to the land by a narrow strip of sand. Beaches with soft sand, rocky spits protected from the wind, clear emerald waters, the colors and scents of Mediterranean plants, among which stone oaks and frankincense are often found, are the characteristics of this stretch of northern coast of Sardinia.
