Oulu is the sixth largest city in Finland and the administrative center of the province of Oulu. It is located in the north-west of the country, at the confluence of the Oulujoki River in the Gulf of Bothnia of the Baltic Sea. Founded in 1605, Oulu is the oldest city in Northern Finland.
