Okanagan Lake is a lake in the province of British Columbia in Canada. It is located in the southern part of the province in the valley of the same name about 100 km from the US border. One of the largest lakes in Canada — an area of 351 square kilometers. The height above sea level is 342 meters. The lake is very long and narrow, about 135 km long and up to 6.4 km wide. On the southwest shore of Lake Okanagan is the Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park. On the eastern shore of the central part of the lake is the largest settlement of the Okanagan Valley — the city of Kelowna, on the western shore are Pechland, Summerland and West Kelowna, which includes Westbank and a number of other smaller settlements.
