Partenit is an amazingly beautiful urban-type settlement on the southern coast of Crimea. It lies hidden in a cozy bay between Alushta and Yalta. You can say that Partenit - a little diamond of the great Crimean peninsula.

People came to love the territory of the valley back in the Stone Age. It was inhabited by the Taurians. Legend has it that the Taurians built on Mount Ayu-Dag temple of their main goddess - the Temple of the Virgin. Then the valley was inhabited by the Goths. Partenit was the capital during their reign.
In the 4-8 centuries from Partenit made a port where ships from different parts of the world came.
In 1908, archaeologists found a temple and tomb of St. John of Gothic.

Partenit has a rich history. It used to be both a seaport and a capital, and eventually became a city-type settlement. The village changed owners until it fell to General Rajewski, who began to revive the valley.

Partenit located between two mountains - Ayu-Dag and Kuchuk-Ayu, which is affectionately translated from Turkic as - bear and cubs. The village belongs to Alushta.
Today Partenit is a popular and incredibly beautiful resort, where you can perfectly relax and strengthen your body.
