Oktyabrsky Bridge is a cable-stayed road bridge over the Sheksna River in the city of Cherepovets, connecting the Industrial and Zasheksninsky districts. The bridge was opened in 1979 and is the first cable-stayed bridge built in Russia. The bridge is similar in design to the St. Severin Bridge over the Rhine in Cologne, Germany.
