It took about a month to create an 8-meter mosaic stele of the "leader of the proletarians of the whole world". Its installation by the artist Jolagonia, paired with architects Sverdlov and Krasovsky, was timed to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Ulyanov. The portrait of Lenin was a mosaic of scarlet smalt, on which the authors stamped the words from the "Decree on Resorts" in gold.
