The town of Cieszyn is located in the south of Poland almost on the border with the Czech Republic on the right bank of the Olshe River, on the left bank of the river is the Czech town of Cesky Tieszyn. Until 1920, the Polish Cieszyn and the Czech Ceski-Tieszyn were the same town of Tieszyn.
