Webcam Santa Teresa Beach
Santa Teresa, a huge sandy beach, stretches on the shores of the village of Mal País, which merges with the town of Santa Teresa in the southwestern part of the Nicoya Peninsula. Nearby is the large Santa Teresa National Park with the richest terrestrial and underwater flora and fauna on the Pacific Coast.
Santa Teresa Beach is considered one of the most beautiful places on the Costa Rican coast. A fine light beige sand with a golden hue evenly covers kilometers of coastline, close to which comes the picturesque tropical forest.
The entrance to the water is smooth, the bottom is sandy and rocky, but slowly go deep is impossible because of the powerful surf. Santa Teresa is not the best place to swim, but ideal for surfers. The high waves and sea breeze provide great conditions for windsurfing.
The beach is almost always deserted. Here prefer to rest singles, windsurfers, nudists. There are no beds with umbrellas. Along the coastline there are inexpensive hostels, several campsites and parking lots. With children in Santa Teresa you can vacation only in hotels with swimming pools.
There are no cafes and restaurants on the beach, but the snack bars in Mal Pais offer good and inexpensive food.
The town of Santa Teresa has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - hotels, stores, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, banks. You can rent a boat or boat to walk along the coast, go to Montezuma Falls, the protected area or fishing.
