Skopelos is an island in Greece, in the Aegean Sea, one of the islands of the Northern Sporades archipelago. It is located in the western part of the Aegean Sea. The island is located to the east of the Greek mainland. The island is dominated by two mountains: Delphi (681 m) in the center of the island, and Palouki (546 m) in the southeast. The coastline of Skopelos is 67 km long. There are more than 360 churches and chapels on the island.
