Krynica is a balneo-climatic and ski resort, called the "mountain pearl". It stretches on the slopes of the Beskid Sudecki, surrounded by coniferous groves, and has 23 mineral springs. The resort was founded in the early 19th century. The spa treats diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, kidneys, liver, biliary tract, respiratory tract, metabolic disorders.
In the treatment process applies the following procedures: pearl baths, gas carbon baths, four-chamber baths, acid-carbon baths, brine baths, ionophoresis, therapeutic mud wraps, ultrasound, infrared radiation therapy, inhalation, cryotherapy, stay in the salt cave.
The most popular spa resort is Nowy Dom Zdrojowy, which offers recreation with weight loss procedures, weekend tours with bio-rejuvenation, and rehabilitation courses.
There is also Nowe Lazienki Mineralne rehabilitation and treatment center, with over 30 types of treatments, including unique dry gas baths and mud programs.
Krynica Spa is also home to the famous Dr. Irena Eris cosmetic clinic. In the clinic each guest is offered an individual author's SPA program - weight loss, rejuvenation or relaxation.
