Iliamna is an active volcano in North America, on the Alaska peninsula, located in the northern part of the Aleutian Range. Located about 215 km (134 mi) southwest of Anchorage. The height above sea level is 3053 m . The slopes of the volcano drop steeply to the western shore of Cook Bay. The fumaroles are located at an altitude of approximately 2,740 m, and emit almost constant smoke and steam on the eastern slope.
