Otepja is a town without municipal status in Estonia, in Valgamaa County, the center and constituent part of Otepja Parish. It is known as an international center of winter sports and tourism, where the qualifying rounds of the European Championships and the World Cup stages are held. Otepja has the unofficial title of the winter capital of Estonia (in contrast to Pärnu, the "summer" capital of the country).
