Webcam Areia Branca Beach
No ranking of the best beaches in East Timor forgets to mention this stretch of coast. Areia Branca offers good conditions for recreation and simply amazing nature. A true tropical paradise, hidden from civilization.
The beach is a fairly large stretch of sandy coast framed by mountains. This is a very picturesque and secluded place. The flat and wide shore is covered with light sand, the water is clear and very clean. Along the beach there are trees that give plenty of natural shade. The tide here is quite strong. The beach area has excellent conditions for diving and snorkeling.
Areia Branca is remote from populated areas, but well equipped. There is a small promenade, tables and chairs on the beach, gazebos, and a cafe nearby. The nearest hotels are in Dili.
