Kerch is an amazing city located between two seas - the Black Sea and the Azov Sea. It has preserved many monuments of its more than two thousand years of history. Especially interesting are the ruins of ancient settlements, as well as mounds and crypts of ancient rulers. The medieval fortresses of Kerch and Yenikale are in good condition. In Kerch is a church, which is recognized by many historians as the oldest church in the country - the Church of St. John the Baptist.
The center of attraction for tourists is Mount Mithridates - it leads to the famous staircase of several hundred steps. At the top of the mountain there is an obelisk commemorating Immortal Heroes and a bench called the "Crimean Bridge. In addition to the Crimean bridge from the observation deck of the mountain you can clearly see the ruins of ancient settlement Panticapaeum, as well as the port with its ships. There is a beautiful embankment at the Kerch Bay.
