Webcam Uzhgorod - Theater Square
Theater Square is the most attractive square of the city, its name comes from the theater, opened in 1920.
Now it is a puppet theater "Bawka". Not far from the puppet theater you can see the house of one of Europe's largest formerly orthodox synagogues, built in 1904 in a pseudo-Moorish style.
Its exterior walls are ornamented with clinker bricks and red ceramic tiles. It is now home to the regional Philharmonic Hall. Since Theater Square is the central square of the city, it often hosts various festivals, city karaoke shows, performances of folklore ensembles.
Children, in good weather, can ride small electric cars, or ask their parents for some toys, which are sold directly on the square. The Theater Square is always crowded and interesting!
