Kopaonik ski resort is the largest mountain range in Serbia, with a length of more than 100 km, one of the most popular resorts in Yugoslavia, located 290 km south of Belgrade, as well as a national reserve. Kopaonik-located at an altitude of 1,770 m, provides conditions for skiers of various degrees of training, from beginners to experts. The winter season starts in November and ends in March. The number of sunny days in a year is about 200, which is why the resort is called "Sunny Mountain".
