Located on the Greek island of the same name, the city of Naxos is part of the nome of the Cyclades. It was founded in the 6th century BC. In 1537 he took over the Turks. In 1829, Naxos belonged to Greece. The city is notable for its ancient arch which rises on the hill. It is part of the temple of Apollo.
