Live broadcast Looe. Panorama (Krasnodar Territory)
Loo is a small resort village located 18 kilometers from Sochi on the Black Sea coast. Loo is part of the Lazarevsky District of Sochi. The places here are picturesque - on one side overhanging the steeps of the Caucasus Mountains, and on the other side of the stretches of the sea. The sea in the village of Loo open - no estuaries or bays that would fence it.
Therefore the color of the sea is surprisingly azure, and the waters are clean and clear. The village of Loo is located on the territory of the Sochi National Park and Caucasian Nature Reserve, 18 kilometers from the center of Sochi. The name of the village is associated with the name of the famous Abaza feudal family Lai or Loovy.
Wide pebble beaches, along which the village is located, leads to the fact that most accommodation for rent is located near the sea. The beaches and the sea are some of the best in the Greater Sochi area.
Loo - a great place for youth and family vacation. Hotels, guest houses, boathouses are built near the beach.
In the mountains near Loo are the ruins of an Abkhaz-Alanian temple of the 8th-9th centuries. Well-preserved northern wall of the building is made of limestone blocks. The temple is quite large: 20 meters long and 11 meters wide.
In Loo is the only year-round water park in the area.
