Webcam Vologda. Goncharnaya Street, Gagarin Street
Gagarin Street is a street with a total length of about 4.5 km, located in the southwestern part of Vologda. Renamed in honor of the pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR and Hero of the Soviet Union, Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin. Previously known as Boulevard street.
The beginning of the intersection with Preobrazhenskogo street, ending with the intersection of Galacticheskaya ulitsa. It also intersects with Poselkova, Shchetinin, Yuzhakova, Detskaya, Petina, Respublikanskaya, Cherepovetskaya, Sheksninskaya, Gonchanaya, West streets; District highway and lanes Yangosorsky, February. It runs parallel to Solodunov and Kirpichnaya streets. It is an asphalted two-lane road with two-way traffic and one carriageway.
The numbering of houses on the odd side goes from house 1 and ends with house 105, and on the even side from house 2 to house 90. Public buildings of public interest include traffic police, a high school, a library, and a fire station. Also on the street are Vityaz stadium and Kovyrynskiy garden. The development is mixed - there are both multistory and single-story houses.
Along the street are bus routes of public transport. The railway station and bus station are located in Babushkin Square at a distance of about 5 km. The airport is about 14 km away.
