Hungary has no sea, but the locals have successfully replaced it with thermal spas, whose special qualities are known to all. The largest spa complex HungaroSpa in Europe is situated 21 km to the south-west of Debrecen. The town is in the category of brilliant balneological areas in the center of Europe: it is a significant status, and it is given for a reason. The water is golden-brown in color and comes from a depth of 1090 metres and its temperature is 75 °C. It has amazing therapeutic properties, has a high content of iodine, bromine, salt and bicarbonates. You can swim here all year round - especially since the water is not only warm, but also therapeutic.
The thermal spring spews out liters of mineral water every second with titanium, vanadium, copper, zinc, silver, strontium, barium and lead, as well as 20 dissolved minerals, natural gases, which are completely renewed after some time.
Since the reservoir is located in a valley, it creates a unique microclimate - steam rises over the water, which is very useful for the respiratory system.
The area of the largest hydropathic spa in the country is 30 hectares. In the therapeutic baths there is a great number of healing procedures: massage, mud treatment, underwater massage, stretching, underwater gymnastics and a variety of electrotherapeutic and laser procedures. After a course of treatment 90% of patients who come here, suffering from diseases of musculoskeletal system, skin and gynecological diseases, doctors note a significant improvement. Warm baths with traction relax muscles and stretch the spine. The effectiveness of therapy is greatly increased by the fact that the muscles are relaxed in warm water. For this purpose, there are 3 indoor swimming pools, filled with therapeutic water of different temperatures. In addition to these, there are ponds for children, there are sports ponds with and without waves, as well as pearl baths. The most famous and popular novelty of the complex is the "Mediterranean Coast" pool with palm trees.

This means that in addition to the wellness and the usual spa and apartments, walks through the parks, an elegant restaurant with summer terrace and drink bar in the lobby, it also offers many recreational water features, plus, a modern large water park with a large water surface.
