Webcam Blagay. Panorama
Blagaj was once the capital city of Herzegovina, but now it is a small, quiet town, noisy only in tourist season, when thousands of people come here to admire the extraordinary landscape and visit the tekija.
There is a cave in a huge overhanging cliff from which the emerald Buna River flows. That is, it flows out in summer, in the dry season. And during the rainy season it gushes out in a violent stream. Next to the cave stands a tekija of dervishes, a holy place for Muslims.
In Blagaj, there is an old house of Velagichi, a visit to which turns into a kind of journey through time. Nearby is the old mill, where Velagici used to grind grain. Time has not spared ancient buildings, such as the hammam Karadjozbeg on the bank of the Buna River and a small private fortress of the Kosic family.
