Yeisk is a small resort town on the shores of the Azov Sea. Its name is derived from the river Eya, which flows into the Eya estuary. The city is located in the northern part of the Krasnodar region. There is even a joke among the townspeople that from Yeisk begins Kuban.
The city was founded in 1848, thanks to the efforts of the governor of the Caucasus, Prince Mikhail Semenovich Vorontsov (1782 - 1856). Prince in Yeisk is a monument. The city began to grow and develop rapidly. People began to choose it as a permanent residence.
