Riviera Bridge

It was built in 1936 according to the project of the architect academician I. V. Zholtovsky. It functionally replaced the old metal bridge that stood until 1958, the bases of the pillars of which are still visible at the Small Riviera Pedestrian Bridge. Until the construction of the Kuban Bridge, it was called the Sochi Bridge. The bridge is arched, two-span, very light in silhouette, despite the external dressing with natural stone. At the time of its construction, it was considered one of the most beautiful bridges in the country. Length — 76 m, width of the roadway — 12 m. The load capacity is 15 tons.
