In the winter season "Arkhyz" resort offers the widest recreation opportunities for the whole family.
In two tourist villages of the resort - Romantic and Lunnaya Polyana - four ropeways operate, 25 km of slopes of different difficulty level are open: 14 km on the southern slope and 11 km on the northern slope. All resort slopes have snow cover of high quality thanks to snow melting system. Ski slopes #8 and #10, which go under the Sputnik cable car, have a system of lighting, which makes it possible to open the slopes for the guests in the evening. There is a children's conveyor SunKid elevator.
Ski equipment rentals for 2000 sets and lockers are open in the resort. Working school of ski instructors, the program includes training courses for adults and skating lessons for children in the children's ski town. There is an open-air ice skating rink.
Festive events, festivals, contests and drawings for prizes are held at the Arkhyz resort during the whole season.
By winter 2020, more than 1,500,000 guests from all over Russia had vacationed at Arkhyz.
